When it comes to covering any kind of outdoor surface, the most widely used materials are granite and quartzite – commonly used on driveways, sidewalks and squares. Due to our local mineral resources, limestone pavement is also used in Estonia, especially in the case of private residences, for it is usually characterised by a natural or roughened surface that does not become slippery as a result of rain.
